First thing that springs to mind about a candle centerpiece is the romance of the soft glow throughout the room that only candles can provide. You can never have too many candles. Use different shapes and sizes to create natural light. For a stunning effect use bottles or candles holders at different heights and lengths. You could also use candles that have a fragrance for a very special effect.
Vintage is still one of our favourite wedding themes and it never seems to go out of fashion. It is super easy to pull together a gorgeous non-floral wedding centrepiece by using vintage decor elements. One of these ideas would be old vintage books. There are so many ways to decorate and make a pretty tablescape by using old books. Stack them on top of each other and all you need is pretty lace or ribbon with which to decorate.
A simple garland of lush greenery is the perfect addition to a rustic, organic wedding theme. This is a great look if your garland is spread right across the length of a rustic wooden table. You can use any greenery but we prefer to use olive branches or eucalyptus aka pennygum. This is where you can get creative and add a few kale flowers or dessert roses. Simply secure a couple of small votives in between your greenery for a great centrepiece look.
Lantern centerpieces can be used with so many difference wedding styles, such as rustic and vintage or sophisticated and elegant. Lanterns are another budget-friendly idea as you can decorate with candles for romance or you could go for shells and stones for a vintage theme. Group together a few small lanterns or one large lantern, either way it can be on trend
It’s a great idea to use potted herbs as a centerpiece. This is a budget-friendly centerpiece for a laid back garden affair. This is also a great DIY project for you to do. Buy a selection of seedling herbs and transplant into pretty little flowerpots that you’ve collected early on in the planning stages. Arrange in clusters or down the length of the table. On the day of the wedding, these could be given to the ladies as a useful favour.
